Responsible use of AI and Copilot

LOCUS IT uses and advises on AI, including Microsoft Copilot, in line with Australian expectations and Microsoft’s Responsible AI Standard:

AI supports decision‑making and does not replace professional or clinical judgement
Microsoft Copilot operates within the customer’s Microsoft tenant and security controls
Prompts and AI outputs are treated as customer data and are not used to train AI models
Human review is applied before AI outputs are relied upon, particularly in health or governance contexts

Sharing and storage

We may share information with:

Clients and organisations we act on behalf of
Trusted cloud and technology providers (including Microsoft) under contract
Professional advisers or regulators where required by law

Data may be processed outside Australia only where appropriate safeguards are in place.
